As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the North Kingstown School District has received grant funds administered through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund. We are currently planning for our ESSER III funds from RIDE and we are looking for stakeholder input. The goal of this grant is to provide states with funding to support the nation’s schools in safely reopening and sustaining safe operations of our schools while meeting the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. All ESSER III funding must be spent by September 30, 2024.
The ESSER III funds must be prioritized for in-person learning and learning loss mitigation. Please take a few minutes to provide your feedback and input into our planning process. We ask that you complete this feedback form by noon, Monday, 12/27/2021.Thank you for your support and time.
